Sunrise Medical Center

Sunrise Medical Center brought a new outpatient care facility to a growing suburb of Denver, consolidating surgical, diagnostic, and primary care services that had previously been spread across multiple aging buildings. MAZARINI worked alongside the design team from early schematic phases to align construction sequencing with the facility's phased opening plan, allowing portions of the building to begin serving patients before the full project reached completion.

Healthcare construction carries its own constraints — infection control during construction, specialized MEP systems for imaging equipment, and strict accessibility and life-safety code requirements all shaped the build sequence. Coordinating around an active healthcare campus meant maintaining strict dust and noise controls throughout construction to avoid disrupting adjacent clinical operations.
